What is life like outside of the training site?

Life outside of New Paltz, Poughkeepsie, and Walden in the Hudson Valley offers a diverse range of experiences, characterized by a blend of rural charm, access to nature, and a slower pace of life compared to the more concentrated areas. Here is a glimpse of what it might be like:

Rural and Scenic Landscapes:

 * Outside these towns, you will find yourself immersed in the natural beauty of the Hudson Valley. This includes rolling hills, farmland, forests, and the scenic Shawangunk Ridge (near New Paltz and Walden).

 * Opportunities for outdoor activities abound, such as hiking in Minnewaska State Park Preserve and the Mohonk Preserve (near New Paltz), exploring the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail (accessible from New Paltz and Walden), and enjoying the Hudson River waterfront in various locations.

 * The landscape provides a picturesque backdrop and a sense of tranquility.

Smaller Towns and Hamlets:

 * Scattered throughout the region are numerous smaller towns and hamlets, each with its own distinct character. These might include places like Gardiner (near New Paltz), Marlboro (near Milton and Newburgh), or smaller communities within the broader Dutchess and Ulster counties.

 * Life in these areas often revolves around a close-knit community feel, with local businesses, farmers' markets, and community events playing a central role.

Will residents have the opportunity to restore and/or place implants at your training site?   

We do restorations, but we do not have many patients that have this procedure, we are planning and developing plans for more restorations in the future but do not place implants at our training sites.

Will residents treat children in your training site?

 Children are seen at all training sites, although we do not have a pediatric practice, adults and children are treated.
