Healthcare Network is committed to ensuring quality healthcare is accessible to everyone in our community, regardless of income, insurance, or background. Founded in 1977 to serve migrant farmworkers and their families in Immokalee, Healthcare Network now provides primary care to approximately 50,000 patients in practices throughout Collier County including the Ronald McDonald Care MobileĀ® providing dental screenings and preventive treatment to underserved children at school.
Residents will work alongside bilingual staff and faculty to care for a diverse patient population. Residents will provide comprehensive and emergency dental care to children, adults, elderly, developmentally disabled, and medically complex patients.
Residents will gain clinical experience in the following disciplines of dentistry: preventive, restorative, endodontics, periodontics, removable and fixed prosthodontics, hard and soft tissue surgery, and trauma management. Residents will participate in a monthly periodontic rotation, which will include diode laser training, management of periodontal disease, and various soft and hard tissue surgeries. Residents will also gain experience using a digital scanner for fixed and removable prosthodontic cases.
