Hawaii Island Community Health Center provides high quality and patient-centered dental care. We have been educating AEGD dental residents since 2005. Residents improve on their dental skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, but supportive learning environment. They are trained in preventative, restorative, endodontic, periodontal, surgical, and prosthodontic dentistry, including restoration of implants and using CEREC primescan technology. We treat patients of all ethnicities, ages, and varying medical complexities. Our FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) status, allows us to treat patients regardless of their ability to pay. We put an emphasis on a positive team environment, and stress the values of honesty and respect. An overwhelming majority of our staff dentists are graduates of this AEGD program.
